Vocational Skills Training for Targeted Women Concluded

18 May 2025, Frontline Information Center, Parbat — A five-day professional goat and poultry farming training program for targeted women of Ward No. 4, Kushma Municipality, concluded on Sunday in Kushma. The program was conducted under the Presidential Women Upliftment Livelihood Improvement Program as part of the Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Training organized by Frontline Nepal Entrepreneurship and Development Foundation, Parbat, with financial support and coordination from Kushma Municipality.

A total of 25 women — single persons, persons with disabilities, and those from disadvantaged groups — selected by Ward No. 4 of Kushma Municipality participated in the training. Seven expert facilitators specializing in goat farming, poultry farming, animal health, entrepreneurship, marketing, and financial literacy conducted sessions over the five-day training.

After the training, each participant will receive a seed grant of NPR 26,000. The ward office and the organizing institution have adopted a monitoring method to ensure the proper utilization of the seed capital so that all participants become professional entrepreneurs.
